notes
“ Singers and multi-instrumentalists Willson & McKee combine smooth harmony vocals, luscious hammered and Appalachian dulcimer, bouzouki, harp, and guitars to create one of the better duo albums I’ve heard!”
Tom Nelligan-Dirty Linen, Apr/May 2002
Willson & McKee are: two voices, guitars, hammer dulcimer, celtic harp, mountain dulcimer, bodhran, bouzouki, accordion, banjo, and lots and lots of FUN!!

2005 Milwaukee Irish Fest/Walton's of Dublin, Songwriting Awards: 2nd Place
Description:
Touring since 1990, this husband and wife duo blend breakneck instrumentals with warm harmony vocals, to weave a vibrant experience of texture and fun!
Traditional Scottish ballads, blood-pumping Irish dance tunes, songs about Mexican food... a surprise in every track! Ken and Kim invite listeners to share a unique place...
All of the duo's recordings were done with the intent that a listener would get the same musical experience as in a Willson & McKee concert. No over production, tasteful arrangements, solid musicianship, and a connection with the music itself.

author: Frances WadeThis CD is delightful as all of their music is. Not quite as good as sitting there in person, but the next best thing.
Hauntingly addictive. Charmingly genuine. Acoustically masterful.
author: Frank SaubersThe only thing wrong with this CD is that it is too short! You'll want to play it over and over. A note of caution: DANGEROUS DULCIMER ADDICTION can occur upon repeated listenings. One of the most refreshingly entertaining CD's in my massive collection. "Night visitor" is a masterpiece on the harp and Kim nails it. "Twa corbys" gives road kill new meaning and I pass by roadside crows differently now. When listening to Ken's vocals, you can close your eyes and "poof" you're in your favorite pub... Ah, Willson & McKee & a Guiness. No wonder their songs are(Inter)national champions! A must have CD.
we love the song "Passed by here"
My children love this CD. We have to play it all the time in the car. Every time the song "Passed by here" comes on, we all have to sing along.
