Shane Dwight is a charismatic and supremely talented guitarist, soulful vocalist, prolific songwriter and one of the brightest young up-and-coming stars on the rock/blues scene today. In the last two years the Shane Dwight Band has been catapulted to the forefront of the West Coast Blues Scene. Appearing at prestgious concerts such as the Montery Bay Blues Festival, Reno Blues & Brews Festival, San Diego Blues Festival, Portland Oregon Waterfront Blues Festival, San Francisco Jazz Festival, S.F. California Blues Festival, Central Valley Blues Festival, San Jose Comcast Jazz Festival, San Jose Metro Fountain Blues Festival, and the Redwood Coast Jazz Festival (Eureka) etc.etc. The Shane Dwight Band has also performed at world famous nightclubs; Slims (Boz Skaggs club), John Lee Hooker's Boom Boom Room, and Biscuits and Blues in San Francisco. B.B. Kings in Hollywood, Blue Cafe in Long Beach, and Harvelle's in Santa Monica. Though Shane's music is blues based, the bands ability to cross over to a variety of different audiences is evidenced in their current concert shcedule which has them working at venues as diverse as County Fairs, Disneyland Theme Parks, opening for Major Country, Blues and Rock Stars and appearing as the house band on Microsoft's Nationally Broadcast television show, "Microsoft Insider LIVE." Shane has already been contacted by several concert promoters from around the United States as well as Europe for the 2005 Festival season. These are just a few of the entities that recognize and appreciate the potential of Shane and his band and are expecting great things in their future. Shane and his band are getting rave reviews for every performance they play.

The catalyst of Shane's growing popularity and fan base has been the unforseen development of his soulful, country-tinged vocals and charismatic stage persona. Silicon Valley Metro's Marianne Messina qoutes,

Though he has only been singing and fronting his own band for a few years, continuous media exposure, "good press" and lots of radio play on local and Nationwide radio shows such as King Biscuit Radio, and Dan Aykroyds House of Blues Radio Hour has afforded Shane the opportunity to play extensively throughout the West Coast as he builds a loyal fan base in every city he plays. Shane is fast gaining the reputation of an excellent showman and is performing at a maturity level well beyond his years.

The Shane Dwight Band, known for it's high octane, dance 'till you drop Rock & Blues, is fast becoming the Sensation of the West Coast.     I was playing this CD at the Big & Rich show tail gate party, when not to my surprise people started asking who this guy was. I started giving out the info about who it was and how they could buy it on Cd Baby. The crowd around my truck grew and grew. I had at least fifty people of all ages grovin to the tunes around my truck. It's nothin but love with this one. Any one that hears it has nothin but love for it, No matter their age or background. Shane's music brings people together and they all have agreat time. So glad that this guy can do what he does.

    I wish Shane was on every radio station! I want to listen to this in the car, the house, out in the yard,in the pool,at the gym. I can't leave it alone. My parents love it, my wife loves it,and my kids are jumpin and boping to it. This one is the blues, that never lets you down! This is an epic work of art. I have never enjoyed any artist's live songs like thees. It's like he is with you,playing for you. I live in Michigan and hope that they will play "The Motor City". You aint got a thing, till you got this thing. Buy this one... It will set you free.

    I love this CD! I saw this band in Reno while on vacation at Harrah's and the CD is exactly like the concert they gave. I have become a fan and asked for their other CD's for Christmas. Only wish they would come to the Cleveland, Ohio area on tour. You can bet the next time I come to the West coast I will be looking to see where they will be performing live.

    saw these cats at the oklahoma blues festival in tulsa. they brought the room alive!! shane is an unbelievably gifted musician and entertainer. he plays for and to the crowd.

    I love this CD. The original tracks are great. "Done with You" got my attention live and keeps it going on the CD. The only thing I'm not happy about is that there isn't more!

    This guy is keen, clever and remarkable. Pure talent. Last time i seen him was monterey blues festival. He does the unexpected. Did a latin scale lick on his guitar that was faster than time. He's unpredictable and he's a star, grounded. He can move a deaf crowd and cook a steak with hot steam. His approach is simple soul-based. Intricate on the ax if need be. Robert Cray took blues and turned it mainstream without leaving the soul of the genre. Shane is taking off similar to Cray.     I won a CD of Shane, at our county fair, when I 'danced' with my husband from a wheelchair..we've just about worn out that CD..and I ordered the new one. We can't get enough!     Done With You is one more excellent album from the Shane Dwight Band. This band truly rocks the blues in live shows and, fortunately, Done With You features several live cuts. My favorites are Shane's cover of Pride and Joy and a wonderfully long version of Boogie King.

    Done With You flat rocks!!!! Fortunately, for me, I saw and heard the Shane Dwight Blues Band perform at the South Bay Blues Festival. He sang many of these tunes along with many from Boogie King. I'll be following Shane Dwight's music for a long time.. He is truly one very young amazing talent!!! You cannot sit still while they are performing!!! They are better than awesome!!!!!

    I was not familiar with this California band, down here in Texas. What a discovery. This band is great, and this CD is solid from start to finish. Great variety, but always in touch with the blues.
