The Locals® are a Chicago-based indie-rock 3 piece. The three members of The Locals, Yvonne Doll (vocals, guitar,songwriter), Christy Nunes (bass), and Kirk Snedeker (drums) deliver their unique brand of melodic alt-pop with a garagey edge all over the midwest. The Locals latest release, Big Picture is a departure from the more folksy sound of the band's past incarnation. The new sound is high energy, electric guitar driven, sumptuous alt-pop with a tight one two punch sound.
