Brooklyn Above Ground is a group of bands from Brooklyn cross-pollinating directly across the boundaries between rock and rap, funk and folk, swing and swank. All proceeds from our compilation CD, BAG 1, go to benefit World Hunger Year–a grass roots organization founded by the late singer/songwriter Harry Chapin leading the fight to end hunger and poverty in America and world wide.
