notes

It has been said that good chemistry is the key to success in
any working relationship. One has to wonder what would happen
if you combined the talents of two brothers with a third, like-minded
soul whose family bond has been forged by a shared vision.
The answer is simple. A new formula is created. A formula for
rock + roll... ZO2!

After many changes, brothers Paulie Z and David Z finally found
the correct blend of sound and talent. These two brothers from
Brooklyn connected with Joey Cassata to form the hard hitting,
forceful, vigorous and ever so tasty sound of Z02. Though a young
band, they aren't new comers to the concert and recording scene
having worked with the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Joan Jett and the
Blackhearts, Blue Man Group as well as members from Megadeth
and Testament.

Z02 is a power trio in which all three members shine as
instrumentalists as well as vocalists. Each member is a capable lead
vocalist who takes turns with the melody and layers harmonies with
a unique and special resonance that only a family can provide. This
fraternal feeling is strong and inclusive and when you see them live
you at once feel at home with this remarkable band. Z02 combines
showmanship and talent with an electrifying stage show that is full of
the funk and swagger of the 70's with the sensibilities of modern rock.
Z02 has just released their debut album: Tuesdays & Thursdays and
are prepared to explode onto any stage and share their unique formula
with any and all audiences. When all their talents and experiences are
combined, the result is pure magic.

This is a great CD, and it is addictive - I can't stop playing it! All of the songs are great rock and roll. Heavy, but not angry or oppressive. ZO2 has an amazing sound and presence - I hope they release another CD soon.

That's right. Salivate and behold the amazingness that is this cd. I saw David Z live when he was playing with TSO and he gave me his bands web address. I got this cd and I love it. Definately one of my favorites. It is so great to hear some good rock music!

  • Finally, the return of good old kick ass rock and roll!!

This is an excellent album. Rock and roll like it used to be! Hint's of Alice in Chains, Metallica, Stone Temple Pilots. A welcome relief from some of the garbage that's out there now!!

  • All I Can Say Is, "Wow!"
    author: John

This CD is perfect! I mean it, p-e-r-f-e-c-t. The songs are tight! With songs like, "Temptation," "Radio," "Living Now," "Paper Breakup," "Breakdown," and, "Dirty Water," (for the ladies, of course) how can you go wrong? As I said, perfection! Buy it! Hell, buy 3!

  • An absolute must-have!

"Tuesdays and Thursdays," is an essential part to any true rock fan's music collection. This fuel-injected rock CD, is absolutely fabulous. In a music industry where the band, Simple Plan, doubles as "rock," this CD is not only much appreciated, but much needed. Track after track you'll listen, totally mesmorized. The harmonies are fantastic and clean, the bass lines extremely sexy, the vocals smooth and sultry, all with an amazing beat driving it. I can't begin to even describe what magic this band has, all I can do is recommend buying this CD. You won't regret it!

  • this cd rocks!!

This Cd rocks!! I saw Z02 with Kiss when they played in Albuquerque, NM. I was very impressed with their music, and had to get their cd. The songs on this cd are great and really rock!

  • Absolutely a must-have. Tremendously written, produced, and performed.

I also got to see Z02 at a Kiss show. They played with a 'big boy' attitude. They were tight - well rehearsed, very active, confident. After each song, I said the same thing, "Wow, what a great freaking tune!" The vocals are nothing short of outstanding. I also appreciated the little trick at the end of "Head Up" where the band is trying to start "Sweet Lover" and clearly ticking off a member or producer. The sound is low for that part, but it's funny so you find yourself mindlessly turning up the volume. Then Sweet Lover explodes through the speakers. Very cool - and definitely the best tune on the disc. I just had my car broken into. They took everything of value. "Tuesdays & Thursdays" was in the CD player (which they didn't take). The joke's on them - those dopes missed the most valuable thing in the car!! :-)

  • I love this CD

You just don't hear music like this, it is so original, and man the guys are great. I first caught them in Pittsburgh with the Kiss/Poison tour, and to be honest, I just had to have it. THE MUSIC IS GREAT, KEEP IT UP ZO2- YOUR GONNA BE HUGE!

  • LOVE IT!

Saw them with Kiss in Kansas City. Liked what I heard alot, so found their CD. Now I love it, it's in my car CD player 99 percent of the time. They have a broad spectrum of music. And I love the way they can take a song and make it sound like soft rock, but then throw in the hard licks, and it all just goes together wonderfully. Hope to hear more of them soon.

  • Excellent new Rock-n-roll artist soon to be a classic
    author: Al

Saw ZO2 on the KISS Rock The Nation tour in Concord. Met the band after their set. A few days after the concert, "Dirty Water" was still ringing in my head. They are a power trio with great writing ability and great catchy hook-lines in their music along with great vocal harmony. ZO2 won't be an opening act for long. For a first release, they seem like 10 year pro's. Best release since creed and nickelback early releases. Buying from CD Baby was also a great experience.
