  • it's good
    author: Flynn

I like it and Diane is my friends mom ( A.K.A Nell and Jaimen Sather,) and I'm not just wrighting this because the're good friends I'm writing this because IT ROCKS! I ecspecially like Nell's solo.

  • It was wonderful and I still listen to it over and over again.
    author: Nell Sather

I'm Nell Sather and I sang in a little part of it when I was younger.Even than I thought it was beautiful (and still do)and I was about 6.Diane's voice makes you feel in heaven!

  • Wow! What a voice!
    author: MJ

Diane is one of the great treasures in the world today. She has a way of delivering a song that gives me chills each time.I feel her emotions on a deep level. It's rare to find such a terrific songwriter with a voice like that.If you haven't experienced Diane yet this is a great starting point.

  • A Model Of Home CD Production
    author: Jim Kloss

What stuns me is that this CD was produced at home by Diane and her husband on equipment similar to what so many aspiring singer-songwriters are using. We hear a lot of home produced CDs by acoustic musicians at Whole Wheat Radio - and this is the best one by far. It's in a class by itself. It's the ultimate inspiration for those struggling with their home CDs. Add to that the musicality, feeling and soul of Diane's performances and you've got a CD that is simply unforgettable. I give it not 5, but 6 stars.

  • Beautiful and heartfelt!
    author: Diane Zeigler:Paintbrush

From the time I saw Diane Ziegler in Boston perform with Ellis Paul I was hooked. She has a way to touch your heart and blow you away with her beautiful voice and touching lyrics. I will always be a fan!

  • Bright and airy folk
    author: Charles Dawson

The cover really nails what this cd is all about - a fine set of bright, airy, cheerful folk. It conveys all the fun of an afternoon at the folkfest, or an evening at the local coffeehouse. A nice vocal style backed by first rate instrumentation, it's a definite keeper.

  • Amazing new CD by Diane Zeigler
    author: Rachel Castle

All of Diane's CD's are wonderful both lyrically and musically. "Paintbrush" however, is her finest work to date. The songs are her most personal and poignant. I really didn't think that I could like an album more than "These are the roots", but "Paintbrush" blows away my expectations of a Zig CD. "Ride That Rail" starts out the album with a great beat and leads into the amazing fiddle playing of Sarah Blair on "Indian Paintbrush". My personal favorite, "It grew in front of me" ends with a haunting solo by Nell Sather. As always, Diane's voice is captivating and addictive. As one fan said "I just can't get enough of Diane's music." BUY THIS CD FOR YOURSELF AND ALL OF YOUR FRIENDS! I can't imagine anyone who wouldn't love it.

  • Another Great One
    author: Dennis Whelan

I just bought this disc and it is better than her last two discs. She and her husband coproduced this disc in their home studio. It's full of new songs that do paint some lovely pictures. Diane's voice is a wonderful sound to hear. She alos sounds great live so if there's a chance to see her in your area don't miss it. Unfortunately she hasn't been back to NJ lately.
