The CHRIS ZAHNLEITER GROUP is a straight ahead jazz combo that consists of Chris Zahnleiter on GUITAR, Ben Zwerin on BASS, and Jamie Chan on DRUMS. Occasionally, Mike Carey sits in on SAX.
All of the players keep busy schedules teaching and gigging in the greater New England and New York areas.
A wide jazz repetoire and energetic live performances make the group a sought after combo for jazz clubs as well as corporate functions and weddings.
The "Chris Zahnleiter Group" has played countless gigs in the past years. The members of the group connect and their playing seems effortless.
They released their first full length CD "Eight Standards" in the spring of '01.
