In a word - *FANTASTIC* !!
author: anonymousThis CD has it all - a virtuoso of many dimensions. I was absolutely stunned while listening to the complicated guitar riffs - defy anyone to try this at home! The rhythms seem to creep up on you and before you know it, have you totally consumed in their thick pungent vapors. You don't know where they are taking you, but there is no way you can resist! And then there are the vocals - Oh My God. This is the absolute definition of PRIMAL. How does he do that? The agonies of human life & struggle to survive are ever so present and clear - haunting, intense, and seductive. And yet there is frivolity and even - do we dare say "JOY" in a review about Russian music? How did he manage to find joy in the mist of such a morose landscape? He is not of this world - that's how! He sees, feels, knows and expresses things that we can only imagine. Thank you Yuri for this delectible feast of human living. I am enriched & enlarged.
