March 19th, 2006, Fileunder
...Very nice songs, very nice arrangements, a very nice production, in short: a Yukka in full bloom. I wonder why these guys do not have a nice record deal yet...

...Every minute of this CD with sixteen songs is a pleasure for the ear and for the heart (...) Yukka's first full length "It Isn't Safe" was a jewel, this second "Still" is a complete jewellery. Stop reading this review now and go buy this thing...

...And we're not only talking about quantity. Because the 2nd full length album of these guys shows a wide range of arrangments. (...) And despite this broadened musical horizon it seems that the band is feeling right at home in all of their musical directions...

January 28th 2006, Ramonaaa
...Jasper Slaghuis has a very open voice, and that's hard to find in contemporary rock these days. (...) The sixteen songs on 'Still' have a high standard of quality and are not tedious for one moment...

  • Excellent ballance, nice rich songs
    author: kkroz

This album is really good. The music ranges from poppy to rock, from soul to funky and lots of layers in between. Although the albums is quite long, the tracks are well balanced and that is the reason why things do not get boring. Yukka is band that you need to hear a couple of times to really appreciate the richness of the songs. Everytime you listen to the album again you will discover new things in the songs that you previously didn't hear before. Very interesting and pleasant listening !
