Inside the mind of songwriter/composer Matt Burmeister a new breed of kooky mad scientist was born. Armed with a wild appearance and the musical talent to please and impress all ages, Professor YiPPiT’s songs are captivating. From music that makes you want to dance and sing your heart out, to lyrics that remind you what your heart is for, this is truly an artist for the entire family!
After months of writing and recording, the songs were sent to long time producer/friend Mark Rubel at Pogo Studio in Champaign, Illinois. Mark put the finishing touches on the final mix and then mastered the project. What took so long you ask? Matt wrote, recorded, and performed every piece of music on this record. Close friend Chris Alaniz provided extra hand percussion, some backing vocals, and collaborated on a couple of different songs. The end result is a fun, positive CD for the entire family!

Professor Yippit is the BEST children's album ever
author: Stacey G.I was just driving home from church, by myself, no kids in the car, to pick something up and go right back. About half way home, I realized that I was singing along with Professor Yippit!!! I have worked in the childcare/preschool "industry" for 14 years now and I am the mother of 3 crazy and wonderful kids, and I think that Professor Yippit is the BEST children's album ever. I love it. It's not just for small kids. My 7 and 9 year olds love it too. They will randomly break out in a song from the C.D. It's so cool to here them singing "Don't Give Up" or "Use Your Imagination". I can tell them those things 'til I'm blue in the face, but they here it better put to music. I love the songs because they aren't just cutesy songs about nothing, they have meaning and thought in them. Thanks for wonderful entertainment for my kids (and me)!!!!
