Straight-forward, raw, nasty, real.... these are the wards that clearly describe my artist name: Xplicit. I chose this name because my music is from the heart. I don’t hold anything back when I am writing my lyrics; I want people to feel how I feel, when they hear my songs .I want people to have the reaction: “Did he just say what I thought he said?!” My style of music changes a lot because as a person I change a lot .My specific genre of music is the wicked upbeat genre of dancehall reggae. I say it is wicked, because I think it is a sin for a type of music to be so good, that it brings so many people to the dance floor, no matter what other type of music they listing to! I am from the beautiful, exotic St. Thomas, the United States Virgin Islands. “Yo me wha big up all me rock people, all me West Indians, Yeah! Yeah!! Yeah!!! Yeah! wha go on.
This bio is to basically let everyone know who I am and what I bringing to the table. Because I am hungry I want every one to hear my shit, “Feed me Bitches!” Hate it or love it, I know I can’t please every one, but as an artist I always want people To love my songs “come on man, I no you love it man, just one hit that’s all you need “. At this time I am recording and writing music, which I have been doing for about 8 years now. I also attend Valencia, where I am trying to get my audio engineering degree, I work At T.G.I Fridays at the airport my first job 7 years and going “yeah come get served”.
I write my own songs using my own personal experiences and the experiences of others who are in my life to come up with my lyrics, what ever I feel the good the bad or the ugly. By doing this, I keep my lyrics original; up to date with what is going on but at the same time, timeless. Meaning I want the songs I make to be able to be listened to year after year. To sum up, I am in the process of working hard to put out authentic music that is a reflection of my experiences, my likes and dislikes and my influences .Before I go I would love to leave you with this.
