Ladies and Gentleman, Wounded Cougar. Behold the plentiful piercing guitar riffs and maniacal rants that perpetuate pubescent minds to probe the plague that prevents thee. An irrefutable stew of that which you love and that which you hate.

notes
"We’ve never been the groupie type, but after the reading, we hopped down the block to the Viper Room, and, ironically, discovered a band that just might turn us into one. Wounded Cougar, dude! Dunno how we never heard of these sexy, wacky, wigged/masked mashers before, but their headbangin’ masterpieces like “Touchdown on Your Ass” and “Please My Gun” left us giddy." - LA WEEKLY
"Wounded Cougar (that's "Wucu" to you) draw their sound from Black Sabbath, AC/DC and Iggy Pop, among others, but it's the band's stage antics that set them apart. Wounded Cougar are happy to be a menace and oppose whatever the mainstream considers the norm." - Anthem Magazine
"Wounded Cougar came ripping through. Good ol’ fashioned Rock N’ Roll with some bizarre lyrics. They are one musical act you’ll be glad to have heard." - Tom Green
BIO
What do you do when you have 2 hours to start a band and open a show? You contemplate your artistic values, your integrity as a musician and your well-deserved reputation. Then you throw that out the fucking window, write some guitar riffs, let your English bass tech name your band and proceed to dominate that unsuspecting crown in Tucson, Arizona. This is the experience of Stallion, Clutch, Beast, Juice, Lance and Hector.
Oh hell, and when you get home why not meander down to the studio and record the songs. Right, we'll need one of those myspace page things. Oh and outfits, really, really good ones.
Wounded Cougar (that's "Wucu" to you) draws its sound from Black Sabbath, AC/DC and Iggy Pop amongst others but its their stage antics that set them apart from the rest. If you're close-minded you can call them goofy, if you're a snob you can call them annoying but if you like your rock and roll loud, fun and heavy then they shall deliver. Not metal enough for metal (no double-kick drums here folks) and not hip enough for indie (though living up to the name, the band has decided to release the album on their own for now), Wounded Cougar is happy to be a menace and oppose whatever you and I consider to be the norm.
With successful shows in Japan, Australia and in their hometown of Los Angeles, an appearance on Tom Green's online show and a fanbase that just won't quit, the longevity of the group is seething its way into their lives more and more and they're all the merrier for it.
Wounded Cougar have an inkling to let out some steam and challenge your opinion of where music currently shits, I mean sits. After all, a trend is something to destroy.

WuCu MoFos!
author: Johnny BI love this album! Yes, these guys are a little goofy, but musically they rock - very talented musicians. Their music is addictive. It's got a nice edge with enough interest to keep you listening. They mix it up with 'Touchdown', a slow ballad with hysterical sexual commentary (not one for the kids). These guys sound great, just don't be looking for any deep philosophical discoveries. Just enjoy the music and Hector's awesome riffs.
Wounded Cougar - If Led Zep were young and pervy they would be this band!
