Washington Monument in our nation's capital for one purpose:
TO WORSHIP THE LORD AND TO PRAY
FOR HIS BLESSING ON OUR GREAT LAND.
God promised us in Chronicles 2 that if we would...
"humble ourselves and pray,
He would hear from Heaven and heal our Land."

On a beautiful Memorial Day Weekend, at the base of the Washington Monument on the National Mall, many of our nation's best-loved Worship Artists, Musicians, Pastors, and speakers gathered together with Christians from all across the USA for an unprecedented Event - a outdoor Praise & Worship Service in the Heart of Washington D.C. Songs of Praise and Jesus Name echoed off the White House, the Lincoln Memorial, the Capitol Building, and all throughout the National Mall. The Concert was hosted by John Tesh and Broadcast Live through the Salem Radio Network to Radio Stations all across the Country.
The six hour Concert featured 20 great Worship Artists leading their best-loved songs, powerful testimonies from Christian Athletes, Missionaries, Congressmen, 9/11 survivors, and encouraging words from America's most respected Pastors, a Band of gifted Christian Musicians - even a visit from the VeggieTales!! The Event was produced and directed by Tom Brooks, Creative Director of Worship Alliance. Great, powerful, uplifting Praise & Worship!
author: Jason, Peoria, ILThis is a Great CD - lots of power-packed songs from a great collection of artists. It feels very live - just like you are there in D.C. This is kinda like a mix tape I would put together myself. I would like to see more Albums like this one. Two Thumbs Up!
