The concept of this album comes from a combination of ancient Voodoo practices and modern perversion.
The 'Voodoo doll' is used to represent the spirit of a specific person. You can address the doll as if you are talking to that person, requesting a change in attitude, influencing the person to act in accordance with your wishes, your desires.
Once in possession of an authentic Voodoo doll, you can request the doll to call upon powerful forces known as Loa. You can perform a simple but effective ritual to fulfill a specific dream, an urgent desire. This timeless ceremony is carried out to persuade the spirits to exert their influence in this world.
The Voodoo FUCK doll, on the other hand, works the very same way. There's only one slight difference. You have to have SEX with it. Umbra coined the term for the new Wormcult album after realising the power in the discovery of what modern sex doll toys and ancient rituals can have in common when combined with a little creative improvised Sex Magic (also spelled sex magick, with the Crowleyan "k"). Four out of five Native Americans should agree that this is also far more effective while engaged in a Peyote-like mindset.
Sex magicians openly advocate the use of the sex act -- or the passions or arousal states it evokes -- as a point upon which to focus their wills or magical desire for effects in the non-sexual world.
CDs now come with hidden bonus material. One of the songs to be included is a song called "Fucked(Bind, Torture, Kill)", which is included as a demo for the new ep 'Sin Eater' (now available)

For beginners and professional Doll Fuckers

You guys have really managed to take a sound that's been driven into the ground and do something totally new and spectacular with it. I'm glad I bought this cd and you will definitely get a great review from me in the up and coming issue of FTM.

Imagine Trent Reznor covering Prince with dirtier lyrics while being produced by Autechre... And you get just a sliver of the band's sound. I spin at a few clubs in Vancouver and this band has become my secret weapon!
