Attention Pastors and/or venue managers: We are currently booking summer and fall 2009 shows! Many pastors and other church leaders are teaching Pilgrim's Progress and our show is a wonderful way to wrap up a teaching series. Please email us for a promotional package including a free CD.
"There is a reason why the Pilgrim's Progress continues to touch the hearts of millions. Its timeless message grabs its readers and leads them to the foot of the Cross. Jim Winder, like millions of others, has fallen passionately in love with Bunyan because he shares a passionate love for Bunyan's Savior. In his latest CD, Jim has put Bunyan's classic to music, excellent music. This is a labor of love, told with beauty and tenderness, courage and passion, refined by struggles and bathed in prayer. In an age where the culture scoffs that life is meaningless, Jim shows us that it can be a journey to glory. And when so much of our evangelical culture treats this journey as a pain-free sprint, Jim bravely points us back to the Scriptural teaching that it is a marathon, filled with doubts, dragons and burdens. But we are not alone. This CD is a faithful guide for our pilgrim's journey, the hard but right way. John Bunyan would love it!"

Acacia John Bunyan Web Site:
This CD is so nicely done! The music and the presentation are not only Scripturally edifying, which is all important, but the lyrics and music style are tender and beautiful. As a true pilgrim demonstrates in a life fully surrendered, Jim Winder's message and music has "followed HIM, glorifying God: and all the people, when they saw it, gave praise unto God." (Luke 18:43) This CD is a credit to John Bunyan's love of the Lord Jesus, to "Come, take up the cross, and follow ME." (Mark 10:21)
Marquis Laughlin, Fellowship for the Performing Arts
"Jim Winder is a remarkably gifted artist whose music penetrates and enriches the soul. His music draws you in and keeps you there."
'The Hard But Right Way' live program is a compelling and moving dramatic performance of a great classic Christian story that's message is able to transcend to today's audiences of the hope we all can find in Christ. The presence of God stirred the hearts and minds of many of our guests at our annual Son Shine Festival through the passionate storytelling, creative visuals and beautifully scripted music of Jim Winder.

The Broken Bread Coffee House recently hosted Jim Winder who performed his program, "The Hard but Right Way-A Pilgrim's Journey." A work based on John Bunyan's "Pilgrim's Progress." Both Jim's musical performance and story-telling were wonderful. Jim's songs, played on acoustic guitar are warm and inviting. His songwriting skills are excellent and his singing voice puts you in mind of James Taylor, though Jim has his own unique style, not derivative of anyone.
Jim's terrific music was blended seamlessly with his retelling of the story of pilgrim's journey through the land of darkness and temptation to his final destination. Jim amazed the audience with his ability to memorize the entire story and to convey it with such emotion and conviction. The audience was truly captivated by his performance for the entire evening.
Most of all Jim's faith and conviction for the gospel, as expressed through Bunyan's tale, was very much evident. It was not only a wonderful performance of a great literary work but a warm and personal invitation to the journey, for those not yet on the road and a great encouragement to those who are struggling as they make their progress.
Making arrangements for the performance was made so easy because of Jim's warm and friendly personality and his desire to glorify the Lord above all else. I unreservedly and enthusiastically recommend Jim and "The Hard but Right Way" program to all. It is an excellent opportunity for outreach and edification. You will be deeply blessed by what Jim has to share!
Sincerely,
Bill Carroll

"Hi Jim, I just wanted to thank you again for your wonderfully contemplative service of music and story as told in your interpretation of the Pilgrim's Progress. It is rightfully said that good music touches the heart like no other medium, a Spirit to spirit dialogue... and your presentation did just that! To choose the hard but right way is to live up to the amazing grace that we have received in Christ Jesus; sheer gift of God!
Grace and peace to you, looking forward to working together again someday soon.
In His love,
Pastor Eusun Kim, Bonton United Methodist Church
The program raised great questions in the mind of the unbeliever. And a great challenge to the believer. It was a very creative way to
communicate timeless truths. The message of Pilgrim's Progress is one everyone needs to hear. And with your program you make that much more
of a possibility. Thank you so much for coming and sharing that great message.
Expecting Christ,
Troy Bramblet

author: Lane in KansasTo begin with, the concept appeals to us since "Pilgrim's Progress" is standard reading for our homeschooled children. Now that we have the CD, someone is playing it constantly. It makes me want to know more about Jim Winder and his family. Our 21-year old son is talking about seeing if his university activities council will try to bring Jim to the campus (ATU in Russellville, AR).

Our family missed it terribly and so we ended up purchasing a few at one time, so that we will have the CD to give to others as gifts in their time of need AND we will not be without our own.

Instant Link to the Gospel Message
author: Dr. Lurline MorrowThis CD is a perfect fit for the presentation I give of "The Pilgrim's Progress." Jim has given musical expression to a classic piece of Christian literature. The harmony with John Bunyan's thought is something Bunyan would have been proud of!

The music is truly spirituallly uplifting. and a blessing.
author: Rayna KayThis music on the CD is very spiritually inspiring. After having read the "Pilgrim's Progress" by John Bunyan, the music has a special meaning. I listen to the CD often, and am blessed by listening to it. Truly we are living in "Vanity Fair" in this world and are looking for "a city whose builder and maker is God". This CD helps us to put our affections on things eternal and not on things on the earth.
Spiritually soothing, inspiring and a great companion for "The Pilgrim's Progres
author: Sandy PrestonI am truly inspired by John Buyan's writings and this CD is a musical extention of "The Pilgrim's Progress." I have shared the CD with other Christians that have not read any of Buyan writings and they are still blessed by the songs and narratives. This CD is a blessing, wish I could afford to buy copies to hand out to everyone I meet.
