notes
“ Superb mountain and hammer dulcimer! Easy to hear why she’s a champion! A healthy dose of original material, that varies from sprightly to expressive, with stellar support from Ken’s guitar and bouzouki!” Dulcimer Players News
Kim McKee is the 2002 National Mountain Dulcimer Champion, Winfield, Kansas.
This is a collection of mountain and hammered dulcimer, accompanied with guitar and bouzouki. There are traditional tune sets as well as original compositions.
Touring since 1990, this husband and wife duo blends breakneck instrumentals with warm harmony vocals, to weave a vibrant experience of texture and fun!
Curiously untamed… they simply don’t fit the expected Celtic mold. Tight harmonies give traditional songs a modern feel and original compositions are given an ancient twist.
A national award for instrumentals as well as International awards for song writing, guarantee a quality of purpose in the music.
All of the duo's recordings were done with the intent that a listener would get the same musical experience as in a Willson & McKee concert. No over production, tasteful arrangements, solid musicianship, and a connection with the music itself.

Great collection of instrumental Celtic.
author: jAMES E MARSHthe CD has a great cover, the shipping was quick, I like all the music choosen and only have one regret -- that there isn't MORE arrangements on the CD. The artists have improved since their humble beginnings and I look forward to more great tunes.
