beautifully interleaved strands of indie-rock and electronica. Melodies that will stick in your head for days.

notes

The Trashcan Electric e.p is the follow up release to the 2003 full length album, A few things to hear before we all blow up. These songs are some of favorite experiments from the last few years and all share a similar feel. Lots of warm and fuzzy electronics blended with delayed guitars and a variety of supporting instruments. Hope you enjoy...

  • A quality second effort

This is a must-have if you're a Williamson fan. There's some great stuff on here, but those new to Williamson's craft would be better served by first listening to "A Few Things To Hear Before We All Blow Up". I found "Trashcan Electric" to be somewhat derivative of the first album in places, and not quite as intensely inspirational. That said, I definitely enjoy "Trashcan Electric" and look forward to Williamson's next production.

  • loverly--it's Williamson!

Excellent for what it is: more Williamson. Obviously, it's short (just under half an hour). But I love it.

  • Good CD

I still have to listen to it a few more times for it to really take root, but it's a good CD. the only thing that keeps this from being great is that it's woefully short.
