The musical landscape is exciting and intense. Musicianship and production are both tight and liberating, giving the listener place and space to contemplate the depth of the lyrical journey.

Bio: Mark William

Born in Texas, after forays to California and Japan, Mark William’s family settled in Oklahoma. Son of a concert pianist and a bowling proprietor/ aspiring politico, Mark William’s early life was punctuated by music, politics, and religion. Sincere journeys of faith led to bizarre blind corners, the focus became music, and the name of the band was Solid Waste, a shocking local favorite.

Mark’s first studio album, Breeder Reactor by The Loyal Opposition, received rave local reviews and some national interest. Destitution cut the run short and William relocated to the cemetery to contemplate a next move.

After several years, accumulated recordings were assembled into an eclectic album, Mutant Jeans. Thought to be marketing wizardry, the project generated confusion and controversy rather than sales.

Present work, Evolution, delivers the goods. The musical landscape is exciting and intense. Musicianship and production are both tight and liberating, giving the listener place and space to contemplate the depth of the lyrical journey.
