notes
Once upon a time there lived a boy whose name was Corduroy. He grew up in a small town in the vast expanses and open plains of what is now Actornhamthorpeville, On. Throughout his youth Corduroy felt a sense of isolation and indifference toward his peers. He found it hard to relate and difficult to focus on his mediocre curriculum at school. Although he tried, Corduroy could never fully apply himself to the things that his parents and figures of authority told him were important. He found himself at odds with the world and at a very young age, he found solace in the comforts of his tiny bedroom. One fateful day in the spring of 1997, Corduroy experienced something that would alter the course of events forever. In a rage of fury, he locked himself in his bedroom vowing never to see the world again, until he was confident that either himself or the world had changed. After many years, the door to Corduroy's bedroom finally opened. However, Corduroy was no where to be seen. All that was left inside was one red balloon and a notebook documenting 9 years of isolation, seclusion and detachment. Whatever Happened to Corduroy? Did he pass on and leave his spirit in the form of the red ballon?? Was he some kind of martyr trying to wake us up from the current pop culture hypnosis?? Or did he even exist at all?

Excellent CD
author: AmyA great cd leaves you wanting more. This one definitely accomplishes that. I like that the first song is instrumental - it's a good introduction. I'd be hard pressed to pick a favorite song but if I had to, it would be Dracula's Castle. Keep the music coming. Looking forward to the next cd. Trevor Blumas has a captivating voice. Come play in Michigan sometime. One thing, I wish there were written lyrics in the liner notes. Thank you!
