Dave told John: "It's like Nine Inch Nails wimped out and started playing with B.B. King, then recorded it on Pluto and sent it to Korn."

The music here is a veritable explosion of excitement. From screaming over-distorted guitars and effects that will melt your brain. Feel the need for drum loop samples that'll make your head bob and Bass that will cause your butt to shake?

Imagine all this coupled with twisted FX farts and noises ala Linkin Park , Nine Inch Nails, and musicality like Ben Harper . E.nergy A.udio R.evolution by Jody Whitesides give you with more extreme poundage in your ear-hole for long distance drives.

You've probably heard all these bands and wondered where can I find another musical mastermind that will take me for a ride. Jody Whitesides will take you on just such a ride. Listen to the sound samples and listen to what so many others have declared to be "music with depth".

  • E.nergy A.udio R.evolution is a must hear.

The music is guitar-driven rock, accompanied by a very strong bass line. It is aggressive yet melodic, with a bluesy groove to it at times. Jody's music is mature, yet fun.

When I was a kid, every kind of music was new; hell, I had a hundred years to catch up on. As I got older, fewer and fewer things seemed original. Same riffs, different words; same beats, different instruments. Jody Whitesides actually sounded new to me, and this made me happy. There are good, fun beats and even some interesting lyrics... ...this is a better buy than most of the crap out there; at least it has some character. He is not some cheap-looking man-whore who may as well be in a Vegas strip club as an overzealous lounge singer. As the kids say, "Keep it real."

  • E.A.R. takes plenty of chances, most are winners.
    author: P. Williams

If you like music that plays it safe, don’t bother listening to Jody Whitesides' E.nergy A.udio. R.evolution. Whitesides’ E.A.R. takes more than a few chances with syncopation, dissonance, large doses of distortion, and chaotic samples weaving in and out of the background mix. Individually, none of these characteristics would be unusual. What is unusual is how he pulls them together into a quirky, yet listenable record. Here and there his attempt at art tends to be awkward social soapbox, but if you are like me, you can forgive the occasional rough spot more easily than a record full of the same-old. This ain’t the same-old. Try it. You’ll like it.
