Penny was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis when she was five months old. She received extensive treatment and medication to keep her congenital disease under control.

Always battling for "The Breath of Life" Penny struggled to graduate from high school and pursue a career as a hairdresser. She was licensed and worked as a hairdresser for a short period of time. When she was no longer able to function without a continuous supply of oxygen, she became a candidate for lung transplants. She was not fortunate enough to realize this dream. She died at home in the arms of her parents. She was only 29 years old with a vibrant hope for an easier life.

Charlie Weyant did not have the privilege of knowing this courageous young woman. Charlie's wife Jane, Penny's aunt, encouraged him to dedicate his first CD to her memory. Penny has been in Heaven for five years, but her lust for life will remain in the hearts of all who knew her. We love you Penny and thank you for the many lessons that you taught us.

All proceeds [after shipping & handling] are donated in Penny's memory to: the Connecticut Chapter of The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation with our hopes that soon there will be a halt to this devastating disease.
