  • Brilliant

This album is as varied and original as her other works. Each song on the album mangages to captivate my senses in a unique way. It is hard to say whether I enjoy her otherworldy vocals or the entrancing music better. Either way this album is wonderul and expansive.

  • Amazing

I got this album about ten years ago and I still listen to it.

  • Excellent!

Wendy Rule's voice can go from evocative to playful and her compositions range from simple to labyrinthine. A true talent and a treasure to the pagan community across the globe. Though her website suggests her pagan path to be of Wiccan origin, her catalogue of songs points to an obvious love for and considerable knowledge of the Hellenic pantheon and mythos that makes the seemingly marginal Hellenic Reconstructionist community just adore this fairy child of Oz.

  • Awesome voice with meaningful, thoughtful lyrics!

Wendy can really sing... her voice is a tool she uses to help lift you into her own view of the world. A little dark in some areas, but wonderful, even so. The arrangements are nicely done, layering the music, and yet keeping each note distinct. Wonderful stuff... Blessed Be, Wendy!

  • Delicious!

I rarely write reviews, but I had to speak out about this one. The arrangements are rich but trim, abandoning percussion and concentrating on keyboards and cello. The songs are of varying length, colour, and tempo, and Rule's voice, while adapting to each mood, remains the uniting factor. The lyrics are based around a spirit view of life that seems largely derived from Classical mythology, making a refreshing change. While the overall mood is peaceful, the music is also charged with considerable energy; it will appeal to those who like Enya but have trouble staying awake for more than two songs. This is my first Wendy Rule album ... it won't be my last.
