Debe Welch's debut CD titled "Not The Way I Planned" is a great collection of contemporary acoustic pop/rock songs with an edge.

About Debe~
Chicago artist Debe Welch has been a professional musician and songwriter for over 15 years. She became published in 1991 and is a member of the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) and also the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (NARAS).
Debe has been playing solo acoustic gigs as well as some part-time gigs with other bands. She frequents the open mics, especially at the Abbey Pub in Chicago on Tuesday nights and is currently doing a run of tours at the local Barnes & Noble bookstores. She has also graced the stage at Chick Singer Night (check it out at www.chicksingernight.com).
Debe has written songs for other artists and moonlights as a studio musician in her free time. When she is not in the studio working on her second CD project with drummer Bob Mielcarski, bass player Rob Matz (Matz Brothers Band), and guitarist Jack Mazzenga (Mistaken Identity, she is touring with the Americana rock band, Mark Zeus and Thunderboltz (www.markzeus.com). Her new album is set for release in the spring of 2002.
