Relatives are more difficult to please than anyone else. They will tell you, with an in-your-face attitude, when there is something they don’t like right then and there. It could be about your boyfriend, girlfriend, the way you dress, your hairstyle, you name it they will make comments. In my case, it’s about my music.
Of course, after they make their remarks and comments, not only do I still have to see and face them whether I like it or not, they are still the most important people in my life.
Sure they want me to write good music; all families do, but they don’t know how to tell me how to do it nor do they want too. I know when they don't like the music I write.
They would make comments such as "mmmn, It's Interesting."
I wanted to write something different and more relaxing. One day, while walking around in Vallejo, CA I attended an American Indian Festival, where a little girl played the American Indian Flute. I was mesmerized.
When I got home, I went on the internet and looked for one. I ended up buying an American Indian Triple Flute in A minor. The left side is set to A drone and right side can be set to A, C, D or E drone.
I was hoping by writing this more relaxing music I would attract the most critical people in my life, my relatives and hoped they would send me feedback.
