El Internacional Quintet es la unión de virtuosos músicos de diferentes partes del mundo los cuales tienen en común la visión de hacer buena música. Escogiendo el jazz como su punto de partida, han viajado el mundo por separado, logrando presentarse en prestigiosos festivales de jazz como solistas o como parte de agrupaciones importantes. Han sido parte integral de proyectos musicales de importantes figuras del género , ya sea en calidad de músicos, arreglistas, compositores y/o productores. Algunos de ellos poseen discografía individual, en donde se pone en función la genialidad a la hora de interpretar el instrumento, así como la musa compositora que los rodea. Por su trabajo , las recompensas son muchísimas y sus propuestas certeras han logrado desbordar teatros de aplausos y vítores como premio a la dedicación y el respeto hacia la música y el público.
Unirlos ha sido un sueño hecho realidad. Cada uno es divo en su instrumento. Sin egos ni jactancias solo desean presentar la excelencia musical en los escenarios. Incluyen mezclas de ritmos tradicionales de jazz con sonidos únicos del mundo y un rico escogido de ritmos caribeños. Con su estilo funk de jazz contemporáneo y musicalidad dinámica prometen dar ejemplo de la capacidad artística que han cultivado y la experiencia que han adquirido a través de unas carreras que continúan en constante ascenso. La mezcla de culturas hacen de esta producción una única y diversa. El espectáculo tiene movimiento y nos presenta las diferentes facetas del jazz haciendo de el una experiencia exquisita. El invitado especial, de Senegal añade la autenticidad ancestral de las culturas latinoamericanas, donde las raíces africanas son muy evidentes y apreciadas. Esta producción va mas allá de los límites de la música que nosotros conocemos por jazz y cumple con las más exigentes audiencias.
---------Fulfilling his interest in creating music that goes beyond the traditional rhythms of jazz, William Cepeda has united a group of virtuoso musicians from different parts of the world and has created what he calls the INTERNATIONAL QUINTET. The group also invited a special guest to complete their vision of sound fusion. After years of preparation, the ensemble brings us the unforgettable tour UNITY.
Some of the musicians from the INTERNATIONAL QUINTET have individual recordings, where they show their genius performance of their instruments, as well as the composition muse that surrounds them. Their works have been recognized and they have had an excellent acceptance as a reward for their dedication and respect for the music and the audience.
To bring them together has been a dream of William Cepeda, and today it is fulfilled. The INTERNATIONAL QUINTET wants to present their excellence in the stage. With their funk style of contemporary jazz and their dynamic musicality, they show the audience the artistic capacity they have developed and the experience they have gained through their ascending careers.
The mix of cultures makes this spectacle uniquely diverse. The show has movement and presents different facets of contemporary jazz. The original compositions, made by them, show a dynamic structure of jazz. The special guest from Senegal adds the authenticity of ancestral Latin American culture, whose African roots are evident and very appreciated.
The show mixes traditional jazz beats with unique world sounds and rich Caribbean rhythms, creating an exquisite experience. It goes a step beyond the limits of the music we call latin jazz and pleases the most jaded audiences.
