The Brass has enjoyed a flurry of recording activity on the Four Winds label, starting with the1998 ground breaking release of Bach: The Art of Fugue. In 2000, the group released its acclaimed Holiday album, A Christmas Concert, and in 2003 recorded its best selling follow up album, The Spirit of Christmas. Mr. Vosburgh is a graduate of the University of Rochester's Eastman School of Music, where he was Principal Trumpet and featured soloist with the Eastman Wind Ensemble. He began his career as an orchestral trumpeter at 19 as third trumpet and assistant principal of the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of David Zinman. Sheer enjoyment from a master

This release is totally enjoyable. Vosbergh is a master of the trumpet and of this repertory, the music is tuneful, and the orchestral accompaniment is very well done. Highly recommended for sheer entertainment value.
