This is Voicedancer's Debut Album as a recording artist. She has been influenced by music from other cultures (Africa, Brazil, Native American....) and created her own innovoative style.
Calling it: "On My Own" shows that she is doing this as a solo artist, as one voice, A Capella.
Her voice dances through rhythms, melodies and sounds, and creates a bouquet of original songs. Voicedancer (Ute Bonn) arranged the songs, wrote the music, and the lyrics (except track 11).
Voicedancer, Ute Bonn, was raised in Germany and has lived in the US for the past 12 years. She is a dancer, singer and songwriter.

inspirational "music"
author: SheshellIt is a great CD which makes you think, laugh, cry, nod your head in agreement and most importantly wants to make you move - for some reason! I love it and have of course my favourite tracks, but listen to the CD regulary for inspiration. Great work! Thank you!
A lovely CD...
author: Chris YA lovely CD… Each track is different, but very much Ute Bonn’s own despite the wide range of her influences and inspirations. Her music is informal and creative, deceptively simple yet powerful and haunting. I keep returning to it, perhaps because I also work on my own, and her work is a reminder of how much can be achieved… on one’s own.
