Vintage rocks my face off
author: Rachel BrownThis CD hasn't left my cd player since I bought it... literally every song is awesome. Not only is the cd great.. seeing Vintage in concert is quite the experience. Lots and lots of energy and talent to burn!
Great recommendation for a different rock sound
Take it all is a great disk, it hasn't left my changer since I bought it. I am glad my boy big Rob E. turned me on to these guys, I will have to catch a show when I am in LA this summer
Very nice
author: KaleyI love this band!!!!!!!!! Wondering Eyes and Forget are my favorite. I put them on my ipod and they sound just as good or better than any of the other artists on there. BUY THIS!
This CD is up there with the classics
author: MonaThis album is great. There is not one song I would skip over and I can literally listen to it on repeat because I don't get sick of the songs. The track titled, "Forget" is going to make this album go platinum someday soon... VINTAGE ROCKS!
Fresh new sound for a good LA rock band
author: vamptosThe album on the whole is great. I really love the sound and mix of instruments. The refreshing part of Vintage is the musicians don't try to out do one another, they work together to make a really crisp sound. "Wandering Eyes" is one of the best songs to come from an LA band since Guns N Roses did "November Rain."
Something new to appreciate.
author: Matt P."Take It All" introduces Vintage, a band of five hailing from L.A. As a debut, All steers clear of the typical "One memorable track out of twelve" formula that usually plagues listeners now. Instead, it cruises through with inviting suprises, from the round-like chorus on Forget, the epic arrangement of Zeus, to the acapella section in Rhapsody. This is all together with "get up and move" tracks in Hey You, which incorporates a crowd sing-along everytime the chorus comes around. All together, this album is a complete picture, with well phrased guitar solos and pounding drums, Take It All hits on ALL cylinders.
A plethora of great sounds
author: ChrisZeus is the model track for a perfect integration of classical and contemporary rock. It is a strong example that the songs on this CD posses an unprecedented uniqueness which, one can tell after listening, will prevail against the volatile nature of the music business. In an industry where an artist's ability is best shown by not only uniqueness but a qualitative and appealing uniqueness, this CD holds a promise of success.
Pretty damn good album.. worth buying.
author: Warren WilliamsThere are some very original sounds in there. But also some trite musical moments and a few mundane lyrics. Highlights are some of the interesting rhythms, texture of the keyboards, and vocal harmonies. I like the rawer vocal sound Ben occasionally achieves. Needs more guitar solos like on Hey You and Wondering Eyes and more 'jamming'!!! Drums are solid. My fav songs are Forget, The Rhapsody, and Zeus. I look forward to number two.
The best I have ever heard
author: AuntieThis has GOT to be the best CD I have ever heard. The best part about it is that EVERY song is awesome. I truly don't feel there are words to describe how great this is.
