Slow Wire Dub is a collection of previously unreleased material from the Deep Down Record vaults.Most of the album is quite downtempo and moody.Kick back relax with that special someone and get chilled with the smoked out vibes of The Viking.
The entire album is a mix of electronics and live musicians featuring Robbin Harris on bass/guitar/drums and programming,Mikki Hirose on trumpet,The Milkman on harmonica,raps by 'Dume', and vocal/oboe samples from Marcia Seebaran.

    LIKED THIS ONE....NOT THE "RUN OF THE MILL" DUB, A RATHER GROUND-BREAKING LAYERING OF MUSIC THAT OFFERS SOMETHING NEW ON EACH PLAY. SMOOTH DRIVING MUSIC, BUT BEST FOR A CHILL OUT NIGHT AT HOME.

    This CD is another great, it has a nice atmosphere about it and is great for relaxing after a day at work on the drive home. Have had it in the car CD player for 3 days now and like it more everytinme it cycles through again. I own all of the Cd's - Vadan, Chishti, Z-Men, and another I found not at CD Baby - Narrow Escapes - that Robbin Harris has been involved with, they are all very good to great tunes that he writes, This is just more and different again, gotta love it.

    Slow wire dub is a mood album. The chilled reggae&dub beats creates a relaxed but unsettling atmosphere that is difficult to describe. I recommend it.

    A nice mix of moods and unique sounds. Takes the listener on a journey which is colourful and filled with soul. There are at least 4 tracks on this dics which I enjoyed instantly and the rest are growing on me . All in all.. this disc is bad ass!! If your ears work.. you WILL enjoy this. Cheers!
