Music that explores the heights and depths of the human heart—that’s Victoria’s art. Her lyrics are honest and thoughtful. Her arrangements are memorable. While’s it’s the rage of our generation to express angst about the how messed up the world and our lives are, she goes farther and points us to the hope we have in the great Creator and Redeemer King ....Jesus.

Victoria's ministry and music are powerful and God honoring. Her new CD is even more moving and edifying. The Art of Love is real music from the heart. It will touch your spirit. You want this one in you collection!!

Victoria James is a delightful talent. Her voice is sweet but more incredible is her songwriting talent. Her music is sing-able without being repetitive. The tunes are lovely and fresh, the arrangements very well done, the lyrics spiritual yet contemporary--easy to identify with, compelling."

God is faithful! He does what he says he’s going to do, encourage people and help them grow in their faith in Him.
Three years ago, after the release of my first album, Heart of Hope, He gave me the opportunity to begin another project. My friend and author, Kathryn Mackel asked me to write a lullaby in her upcoming book, The Surrogate, which was being published by Westbow Press, a division of Thomas Nelson Publishing Company. Things went well and as she has written four more books with Westbow, Kathryn has asked me to continue to write for the characters in her novels. As a mom and local public school teacher, I am grateful for the chance to share these songs with a wider audience, both through these books and our websites: ( www.victoriajamesmusic.com and www.kathrynmackel.com). As time has passed, God has helped me to write nine more songs to be included in my project entitled, Art of Love.
Would you consider helping me get the word out about the cd? Perhaps you know some people who may be interested in this project. Thank you so much!

author: Song of the Year:Critique FeedbackCOMMENTS ON EMOTIONAL IMPACT The atmosphere and emotion create an involving experience. The lyric is riveting and very well thought out. You balance emotion and proficient musicianship to captivate the listener. COMMENTS ON TECHNICAL EVALUATION: The vocal has true emotion that is poured into the performance. The arrangement has good flow with an impressive overall vocal performance. The melodies are very original. The Structure is sound. The production is very good quality and just needs a bit of ambient percussion to round out the sound. COMMENTS ON MARKETABILITY: The song is very emotional with strong market potential crossing multiple genres of music, especially Adult Contemporary and pop/Christian markets. Keep up the good work! This shows real potential as a single. Scores ranged in 8's, 9's, and 10's (out of 10 per section) for the critique. Though no prizes were awarded for this song, the Song of the Year Staff found this song "impressive".
Simply beautiful
author: Kathryn MackelYes, I'm biased because Victoria wrote many songs for my books. But truly--my unbiased opinion is that Victoria James is an astounding songwriter and a talented singer. It is my prayer that someday many churches will be singing her choruses and many individuals will be enjoying--or being challenged by--her ballads and contemporary numbers. I listen to Victoria when I work, and am always blessed.
Terrific
