STOP PRESS: 'TOUCH' HITS THE CHARTS!!
Vicky's many fans will be pleased to learn that 'Touch' made its debut in the Folk Radio Top 60 chart, published August 2, 2003. Airplay reports for July placed 'Touch' higher than 'Home' by the Dixie Chicks, or 'Beauty of the Rain' by Dar Williams.

In all, 'Touch' has so far been played on nearly 200 stations in the US and a dozen other countries around the world, with new stations being added on a regular basis.

TOUCH is the long-awaited debut release from Connecticut singer-songwriter, Vicky Harris. Co-produced with top musician and songwriter Michael Mugrage (Rory Block, Chaka Khan etc), the album features 14 emotionally charged songs in a largely acoustic folk vein, written or co-written by Vicky herself.

    Enjoy this cd everytime I listen to it. I meant to give this one 5 stars last time when I first got it, so I'm making sure to do it now. If you like great singing, buy this cd. You won't be disapointed. This is coming from another musician,and this cd is way better than most anything you will hear on your radio. Trust me.

Like Mary Chapin Carpenter singing Joni Mitchell songs, or vice versa, this warm and rich-voiced folkie truly enchants and moves with her sensitive, reflective and introspective songwriting and cozy voice. With an occasional stylistic "peek-a-boo" from Shawn Colvin, this album will not only touch the adult crowd but younger ones as well. Bravo!

    Anyone with a child would have to love 'Baby Blue' and growing up in an Irish Catholic New England family gave me a connection to 'Sisters'. After listening to your cd many times over I seem to have a different favorite each time I play it. Today it was 'A Good Run'. But more importantly, for me there is not one fast forward on the whole record. I really love it more and more each time I play it.
