On a cold night in November of 1999, Via Sahara was conceived over a round of drinks and a shared vision. What followed was the beginning of a long relationship that would allow the members to better understand each other and the strong connection to their audience. With a focus on mood-inspiring melodies and well-constructed hooks, Via Sahara's sound began to take form. While borrowing from rock, pop and blues, the music is fresh, driving and dramatic. Since then, Via Sahara has released two full length albums, Comfort in my Skin (2001) and With the Weight of the World (2003). Via Sahara has played hundreds of shows both locally and regionally. From touring the East Coast, to reaching maximum capacity at local venues, Via Sahara maintains an unrelenting approach to achieving their goals. Via Sahara has shared the stage with such bands as Three Doors Down, Seether and The Clarks. They have also gained radio exposure and performed in numerous showcases, including a performance at The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Via Sahara continues to perform to support this their 3rd full-length release.
