notes
Wayne McGraw: guitars, bass, keyboard
Trent Antony: drums, percussion
Wayne McGraw and Trent Antony had always enjoyed creating and recording music together while growing up and attending college in Colorado. When life led them to different states, it could have easily been the end of their musical collaboration. Thanks to modern technology, the two were able to create the Amelia album, despite the distance.
Amelia is the duo's most successful release to date and the music has received airplay on public radio stations across the United States and charted on newagereporter.com. Impact Press called the tracks "tight as they can be," and "Sunday afternoon relaxing music" (June 2004).
The music found on Amelia was inspired by ideas of travel (motion, places, flight, the great aviator Amelia Earhart, etc.). As such, the music on this CD spans an unusual range of musical stylings - New Age, Smooth Jazz, Rock. Similar to the unpredictable nature of traveling, these songs may seem a bit varied in style. But the same enjoyment that is experienced while traveling and encountering new and unexpected things is the same enjoyment that results from listening to this entire album. For all of the striking differences, the keen observer (listener) will detect common threads that bind.

Soaring Guitar
author: RaviAll guitarists should check out Wayne McGraw. This guy originally from Arvada, Colorado, places in solos that really sing.
