Album Notes

I have decided to donate $2.00 of every CD purchased to The Wounded Warrior Project. You can check out their website they assist disabled service men and women. It's a shame that many veterans come home and are not given the care they deserve I think this is a necessary cause. Many of my songs are about Sept 11th and since I am pro peace,(who isn't), I am happy to support this project. I have been writing music since the early 80's, my first song,"Find a Cure" was about the Aids epidemic. I write about issues that are important to me. "Time Will Tell" was my first solo acoustic CD, followed by Valerie Gomes Live which was recorded from a show at Rose's Turn in the Village. Hold on to the Dream is my first full production CD, produced by Brad Craig. I have enjoyed working on this CD, it has a pop/folk flavor with a little Jazz thrown in for good luck. The tracks include Justin Flynn, RD Hansen on Saxophone, Lyris Hung violin,Brad Craig on electic guitar,drums,bass and keys,Adam Levin piano,backing vocals,and John Mazlish backing vocals. I am pretty happy with the way this CD turned out and can't wait to work on the next one. I hope you guys and gals like the CD.
