Vero are your, direct explosive, in your face rock act. Their intention is pure and simple… as frontman Marc Fargeo states, ‘We are just out to write good music with hooks, melody and passion.”
And it really is as simple as that!
Their debut single (the blistering ‘How Does It Feel’) was released May 31st 2004 in all HMV /Virgin and online stores.Combining melody with muscle and Marc Fargeo’s expressive, soaring vocals, ‘How Does It Feel’ provided a sterling introduction to the band’s take on post-millennial rock music. But in no way shows off all they have to offer. You think you know the bands genre until you hear the album ’How Does It Feels’ accompanying video spent weeks in the top 10 of Sky TV’s Scuzz channel and won the Video Vote in Kerrang Magazine. The video reached German MTV, The Box in Holland, MTV in Sweden etc etc.. You get the picture.
The track has been played on many radio stations around the world, and Vero have full backing from most UK press.
The debut single charted in its 2nd week of sales, with 1000’s of hits on the bands download page for the single as well. Vero have received 500,000 hits in the website this year alone, and its growing fast.
The band have been approached by a record label in South America to license the music over there, and are currently in talks with North America for licensing.
As not many bands are doing what Vero are doing in the UK and into their scene of extreme sports, Vero have been sponsored by several surf clothes companies such as Hoax, and Baba G’s.
As the Vero bubble is ever growing Vero are currently booking a full university tour, and in talks with ITB to take over the bands international agent to keep up with their international interest.
