notes
Today's "beat chemists" have grown up with hip hop, drum n bass, the internet, the technics turntable and samplers: These things are part of their everyday life.
The idea of deconstructing "Found Sound" particles, as made popular by post modern hip hop, and later reconstructing these particles into fresh sonic landscapes, has evolved to mean: The future of soundwriting.
Fiddles, collide with jazz, metal with reggae and so forth.
This is the land of beats, bass, sonics and mixology.
Lyrics are not needed as sound carries each track along telling the esoteric story.
Sit back, relax and clear your head for "The Beat Of the Drum & the depth of the bass":VENT-Do you want more?

vent0004 so smooth i nearly crashed my car.
author: C. PolackI was driving through Connecticut and tuned the dial all the way left to WESU 88.1. The Dj Jamie played the whole album. This was the first time I ever heard Drum and Bass before. I called her on the Cel, and demanded to know what she was playing. i nearly crashed my car taking down the juicy info. Listening to the tracks won't crash your mood. Some of the most innovative stuff I have heard in a while. And it's from all around the world. I give props up to Tar Media for putting out such vibes.
