The Beginning

In the early Summer of 2006, Gorgoth and Vladr started to talk about starting a Black Metal band based on pure hatred against the Christian believe and at the same time write Black Metal that sounds exactly like Gorgoth and Vladr wants Black Metal to sound. At the start Gorgoth wrote all music and lyrics to VANMAKT, and with his love for Black Metal, Death Metal, Goth Metal and Doom Metal, he decided not to write the usual Black Metal that you could hear everywhere today. Gorgoth wanted to make his own interpretation on how Black Metal really should sound and well, he did!


Diaboli Iubeo, Para Vindicta

Well, VANMAKT decided to record a demo so that they could show the world what they could do and at the same time spread their message regarding Lord Lucifer and the left hand path. Gorgoth started to write songs and 8 songs were made. Of this 8 songs just 4 were recorded due to that VANMAKT didn’t like the other 4. The demo that would be called “Diaboli Iubeo, Para Vindicta” truly showed what VANMAKT stands in the Black Metal society! Several labels contacted VANMAKT and a decision was made to work with Pulverised Records from Singapore! This was not a hard decision, just listen to the roster of Pulverised and you will know why they chose them!


Vredskapta Mörkersagor

Since VANMAKT is a 2-man band a decision had to be made regarding the Full Length album.
Should VANMAKT stay together as a 2-man band or should they find some other metal heads that wanted to join this rising act? Once again the decision was easy, VANMAKT called a couple of metal friends and asked them to join. Aamoth and Graal were glad to be a part of VANMAKT and they did what they could to do a really good and amazing debut album. The debut album of VANMAKT called ”Vredskapta Mörkersagor” is now recorded and it sounds amazing! It’s hard, fast, brutal and filled with hatred! Now its time for the world to see what VANMAKT can do and now its time to spread the word about a new era of Satanic music!

    I love this cd, its bloody great! The only thing I have to complain about is the song open the gates, that one isnt good at all. But damn! This is a sick album! Buy it dammit!
