Val Ramos is considered to be one of the best solo Flamenco guitarists in the United States today. He has performed throughout the United States, in Spain, and in Puerto Rico and has gained an international reputation as an outstanding solo, ensemble, and "cuadro Flamenco" guitarist through his three album releases, two of them with THE VAL RAMOS FLAMENCO ENSEMBLE. His debut album--OLIVE GREEN EYES--features mostly original solo guitar compositions but also include a couple of ensemble tracks with fusion elements and instrumentation such as bass and percussion.
