INTRODUCTION

Munip Utandi who has realized his sixth work with the album in your hand, presents another bouquet of unforgettable classics in which "old loves" are singed.

In this album, which is prepared with another perspective, only three instruments of our authentic music are used. If we consider the voice, which comes out of the soft and sentimental larynx of the performer, as an instrument, this performance with four persons reflects a chamber music character.

The repertory of this work, which we believe that you will find quite relaxing, is also very different from the previous albums of the performer. The goal of the album, which combines the different forms such as Yürük Semai, Þarký, Ilahi, Divan, Türkü, Köçekçe, is to carry the listener to different dimensions one after another. Hicaz Yürük Semai of Dede Efendi, which we are used to listen from chorus, turns into an original performance by the companionship of Munip Utandi.

Moreover, "Üsküdar Türküsü" which is very well known and is listened with enjoyment, almost takes the listener to an Uskudar Tour with a phaeton. One of the "First"s of this album, as I mentioned above, is also Munip Utandi's "voice improvisation" in the Ilahi composed of the lyrics of Yunus Emre, in which he used his voice as an instrument.

Player of Kemenche, Lütfiye Özer and Player of Tanbour, Murat Aydemir have exposed how great masters of their instruments they are by their companionship to the performer. By their improvisations between the works, they also indicate the best examples of this form. Companionship of Master Fahrettin Yarkýn with his Rhythm understanding with very wide perspective, once more softens our hearts while listening this album.

We are endlessly thankful firstly to Mr.Turhan Yetkin and KPMG Company and then to Mr. Hasan Bitmez, Mr. Ahmet Karaduman, Mr. Mustafa Karaduman, Mr. Ilker Gürbüz and everybody who contributed, who make this precious work, which I performed the general directorate after the studio stage, come true.
