Urban Rhythm Collective is a percussion based ensemble formed in Toronto, Canada in early 1999. Their sound is an amalgamation of musical styles and rhythms found in different parts of the world. The ensemble is constantly exploring ways to redefine global music by making music without borders.
Each member's unique musical background helps to create a richly diverse sound that ranges from moving soul rhythms to tribal anthems to ethereal lullabies. The essence of their sound is rooted in percussion and enriched with sweet melodies.
