Amazingly tight swing group
author: namefunnelThis group is great, and somewhat similar to Manhatten Transfer. The arrangements are wonderful, and the singers maintain very tight, complex, and interesting harmonies against an excellent swing band. Very high energy, very well balanced, just great to listen to.
Terrific!
author: kKeith SladenThey keep up the tradition and the standards of the great vocal groups - Singers Unlimited, Freshmen, Manhattan Transfer. A group new to me, I am now a fan

An overwhelming display of the voice as instrument complemented by great backup musicians. Bop, Brazilian, French ballads and a variety of venues well executed. These are serious, high quality musicians into high quality performances. And after finding out they are from my area, I will definitely go to see them at the first opportunity.
UVJQ's passionate crooning is tightly crafted and arranged
author: Joe RossSwingthusiasts, take note of the Uptown Vocal Jazz Quartet! These four are very hep, hot cats. Much of their music is original, and their accompanists are first-rate. Their passionate crooning is tightly crafted and arranged, and "Half Past Swing" is a mighty powerful album of music.
