notes
Unity Praise Ensemble was started in August 1994 in the home of Sis. Betty Jones by Minister John Jackson. Minister Jackson did a Gospel Music Workshop at the Bethlehem Baptist church in Chattanooga, Tn. and asked a few of the members who attended the workshop to come and sing in Unity Praise. Unity praise has ministered through songs in the city and out of the city to many different churches. Many members have come and many have gone, but the Lord just keeps on blessing us to sing praises to His name.
On January 31, 1999, Unity Praise Ensemble did their first Live Recording entitled 'Your Good Is In The Storm." it was a great experience and we really enjoyed singing and recording. Our next recording came years later and we recorded our second recording projec entitled,"It's Just Because of God's Grace" which was released in June, 2005. Then we recorde our Third recording project in January 2006 at the Chattanooga Choo-Choo which is entitled "Through It All." This recording was really touching because we didn't realize that one of our lead singers, our Bro. Charles Johnson, would be going home to be with the Lord before we released this recording. That was a great test of Faith because we had to stand and realize that God will see us through it all, and He did. And on our last recording "Let your Praise Pull You Through", which Featured the Millennium Workshop Choir, was released in June 2007, praise did pull us through and we give all praise and glory to God who is able to keep us from stumbling and falling and he will present us fautless before His throne.
We love God and Love to sing praises to His name.
May God bless you,
Minister John Jackson & Unity Praise
