Electrifying is the only way to describe this one of a kind r&b compilation classic, which features performances by the late great funk masters Rick James and Roger Troutman.
It also features hot tracks like *Messin With My Flow* by the Gap Band as well as the smooth r&b ballad *Who Do You Tell) by the SOS Band. Other artists featured on this compilation are the Dazz Band, the southern funk of the Barkays, Confunkshun and The System.
United We Funk is definitely a must add to you r&b collection. So don't be afraid of the funk and let the

This is a Must Have CD
author: Barry TowlerI had no idea that this album had been released in 2000 until I stubled over it here on CD Baby. The performances from Con Funk Shun, The SOS Band and the Barkays amongst others are first rate and the emphasis is seriouly on the party side of the fence. There's a lot of 'shakin' going on here! This is essential alone for some of the last performances by real R&B greats such as Roger Troutman and Rick James; both stolen away from us too soon. This is just a superb set and I highly recommend it. Please check my review on Soul Express for a further look. OR just listen and enjoy - that alone will win you over!
