Unisun was formed initially by Scott Yvonne, Kendra Gibb and Rick Gowing in 1996. After working with a variety of artists Scott has arrived at a three piece band including Scott Yvonne on Vocals and guitar, Melanie Kitchen on Bass and Rick Gowing on Drums.
The words and sounds come from honest assesment of Scott's life and desire to find the right paths.
Scott say's " Music is the key for me to pray. Many artists will talk of the gift of music and say listen to the music because it talks. I am one of those artists. In all my ups and downs in life I would sit with my guitar and pray to God for help. The songs are my answers. I believe the key to music is honesty in the words and the way we live our lives. If you have nothing to hide then you have no worries of the wrong words comming out. The closer I live to God the more power full my gift is. "

The voice makes the music and the voice is amazing
author: Tim EdwinLove the song Paradise, Take me Home, and It all come's back Around. The vocals are heart felt and give an awsome vib. The over all cd is great. Love the guitar Lead in Sweaten the Sunshine. I only wish the back up vocals were more vibrent. Keep up the great work Unisun can't wait till you next CD.
