CD permanently out of stock. Sorry!
Ulele's broad appeal comes from their fine pop sensibilities. Their sensuous blend of ska, salsa and Mardi Gras/Carnival-flavored rock can only be described as high-energy American music.

notes
Ulele (oo-lay-lay -- Hawaiian for "leap into action") has been in existence for over eight years and remains one of Chicago's most popular independent bands.
Ulele's broad appeal comes from their fine pop sensibilities. Their sensuous blend of ska, salsa and Mardi Gras/Carnival-flavored rock can only be described as high-energy American music.
Their live shows often leave audiences wet with sweat and with smiles on their faces. Stone and Leina'ala are the husband and wife duo that fronts the band.
They are joined by five others on trombones, bari sax, guitar, bass, percussion and drums. (Stone also plays trombone, percussion and electric cello -- an instrument he designed and built.)

Long time ago I had this cd,lent it to a friend and it never came home. Now I cant seem to replace it not even in an mp3. Found lots of dead ends though. If there is any way I can get my hands on it again please tell me how it would be greatly appreciated.
absolutely one of the best cd's i own
author: danThis cd has literally been in my rotatioin since it's release in late 1998. I know the band thru a degree of separation, and I immediately deeply involved myself in Harmony. This cd's sound is gorgeous, beautiful music, groovy...the band's rhythm section is very tight. The lyrics are beautiful, and the vocals and trombones sound so lush and intense at the same time. FIND THIS ALBUM! You won't be sorry. I'm sad to see it's out of stock forever...well i got my copy. Get yours somehow!

This world fusion band's broad appeal comes from their fine pop sensibilities. Their sensuous blend of ska, salsa and Mardi Gras/Carnival-flavored rock can only be described as high-energy American music. Caribbean and latin tinged tunes that are a heap of fun to dance to, and you might stay up all night doing just that.
I love ULELE!!
author: LindsayHarmony is an awesome blend of world music and is kind of ska-ish. Very danceable. I loved it! I listened to it over and over and it never got old. I decided to buy it because I love the song Devotional for Oshun, and many of the songs on Harmony are equally as good. YAY
