Consisting of only one band member, Unsung Criminal possess a single minded attitute towards creating original sounds from accidental beginnings. The tracks take a journey through differing sonic landscapes, some warm, some bleak, all with clear melodies and strong appreciation of rhythm and harmony. Previously in several more traditional rock/pop bands from 2000 through to 2005, Andrew R Jones decided to go back to his childhood synthesiser influences. He had always written small electronic pieces in between guitar based songs, but never really progressed them as much as he hoped. In January 2007, is his debut EP, 'I only realised it was today this morning', finally available. It doesn't bare any resmeblance to his guitar days but people say you can still hear the ambient melodies coming through.
