notes

Tyrone released his debut album on September 12th, 2004. It is “Little Devils Don’t go to Heaven”. Listeners heard reality in his lyrics. Hip-hop is filled to its limits with fantasy rap talking about things that are not obtainable by the average Joe. It was time Tyrone brought the essence of hip-hop, which are thought provoking music through lyrics. Words written are use to inspire the listener to think about their surrounding culture and society. Since Tyrone’s first album he is featured on G.A.S. (God’s Anointed Soldiers) Compilation Vol. 1. He is featured on songs “Blessed be the Rock” and “Hands Up”. He is a proud member of H.H.A. Hip Hop Addicts with three chapters in Las Vegas, Kansas City, and Riverside, CA and with a chapter coming near you. Tyrone has been performing locally over the last year. He has also travel with G.A.S. and performing in local events usually showcases and youth events. September 2, 2005 G.A.S. opened up for Mercy Me, GreenDay, and Monday Morning at the "Rock The Light" Tour. Reality & Rap is thought provoking with tight beats. Tyrone brings the issues that are in the world into rapology. This album will take off the blinders and let people see that hip-hop will help bring a change to society in a positive way. The outlook Tyrone has for this album is for the world to understand Hip-Hop exposes oppression throughout the world not just in the ghetto. Tyrone choose to go to Temple University in the Philadelphia, PA majoring in Economics. Uprising Records is Tyrone’s contribution to a concept perceived from a student organization in the spirit of the Million Man March. Tyrone attended Temple University in Philadelphia. The student organization Uprising, was founded by Tyrone and three other classmates who wanted to address social issues. College let Tyrone grow and let his leadership skills blossom. On the other hand, Tyrone did not record much music in Philadelphia but collaborated with many producers and artist. It's all about Kansas City Hip Hop. Kansas City is where Tyrone grew like crops and delivered his fruit. In a city not know for their Hip Hop scene it's where the culture flourishes. Every artist who visits when they leave they spread the word, it's a beautiful scene. Now back in SoCal 10 years later Tyrone has big plans for his career. Many changes, setbacks, two steps forward and back he will influence and inspire many. This second album "R&R: Reality & Rap" is releasing March 28th. Tyrone's lyrics are eloquent and they marinate in your brain. His style and his deliver is unique which makes it original. This release he teamed up with Hundredfold Music for recording and mixing. Tracks are produced by the like of Kind David for Hundredfold Music, Tommylift of Cirlce of Thieves, JD Flow, Matic and Dusty Rhythms. Teaming up on lyrics, King David and Negro Scoe and a special appreance by Dr. Brown
