Tym Morrison is an amazing guitar player that sets the boundaries for progressive rock music. Many implementations of exotic scales and guitar techniques were used to create this unique style of guitar playing. He's played in many bands, opened for several huge acts. He’s a veteran of the music industry, from performing in a Metallica Tribute band called “Metal Militia” to playing in many Country bands. The songs are about to his political views on society, religion and relationships with people and with God.

    Morrison shows an amazing display of diverse talent throughout this amazing album. From the machine gun riffing in "Only Linux" - a tribute to the open source Linux operating system, to the anthemic "We are Damned", his explosive guitar work shows shades of Joe Satriani, Megadeth, Pantera, and Annihilator - done in Tym's own unique style. His trademark heavy riffing, catchy melodies, and screaming high tech masterpiece guitar pyrotechnics, are contrasted and complimented by the softer side of his musical ability, which shines through in "Battle Love", and "Void Within my Heart". Overall Tym Morrison's Solo Project is an impressive display of musicianship across the board. I highly recommend buying a copy of this disc, and I greatly look forward to future releases from this great artist.

    This was REALLY worth the money. If you like lots of diffent vibes in your ears...buy this. My subs really get a great workout from "Hypocrisy". Gotta love those odd time signatures!!!
