One woman goes on a date. Two friends write a song about it. A band is born! Two Chicks and a Casio are a retro girlie duo who perform original, hilarious songs inspired by real life dating dilemmas. The witty and entertaining Marianne Forti and Leah Gray share songs and stories of getting dumped, stalking, blind dates, and awkward first kisses. Two chicks debuted in 1999, taking their antique casio out of the basement and playing small New York venues. This led to three sold out seasons at the D-Lounge in the Hotel Delmonico. It was time for them to pack their band in a bag and take the show to other cities. Two Chicks and a Casio have performed in Boston, San Francisco, Seattle, Los Angeles, Philadelphia and Provincetown. Their 2001 West Coast Tour was sponsored by Camel and JANE Magazine. In New York they can be seen performing in both music and comedy venues.
