" The New Wine " was from a jam session I had in Ron's Studio May 4,1993. Ron held back his approval but I thought the potential for an Alternative feel was cool. It's my only song with a Jars of Clay vibe. Jon Lantow was banging out a rhythm on my Guitar and I just sang along with it. Nothing written down, I Literally pulled this one out of Thin Air. Jon only sang Amens on it so I have Authorship/composer credit.
Some Love songs stand on their own no description needed. These 3 are from the Angel Beach Studio with Brad Heck & me.
" Living Proof " is Fun from the dreamy - fantasy world I've always Hoped would be True Love.It Rocks in a kind of Rockabilly way reminscent of Ride Captain Ride from the 60's ( tune wise )Still it's Unique & I'm proud of it.
" Your Love Goes On " is a Fun ditty set to a standard Backbeat, so it may seem familiar sounding. Hey it worked for Ray Davies.So I'm O.K. with that. I've had alot of good feedback about this song. It's included on the MACS-" Plenty of Music " CD I published in 2002 for the Minnesota Association of Christian Songwriters.
" My Inspiration " is Hands down one of the Rockiest songs in my bag of tricks. Brad Heck pulled out All of the Stops to fry the guitars on this studio version. Fun ! Rocks ! Really Really Really Rocks. Kind of Sounds like I'm singing Obama in the PRECHORUS. Obama Who ?

The rest of this CD is Background Tracks done by (the late)Ron Nagel for the original Tunes I wrote, Most of what you hear is Ron's absolute Genius. Ron Nagel was a good friend and I miss his studio talents. Ron also was the Engineer for the studio jam of The New Wine see track # 1.
If you Like / Love Classical Music these Minus- Ones are for you. I can't say enough about how Good it feels to be singing along with the Quality Musicianship Ron put into these songs which I wrote.
